Current Sermon Series: Numbers

The book of Numbers records the stories and the people of Israel. Even today, we do the same thing, too. This is why we search family genealogies and have family stories we tell at family reunions. People are precious – and can, at times, be frustrating – to us. The same is true with God. How God deals with His people can help us learn how to relate to others.

I Need a Hero! A Study of Judges

All Shapes and Sizes

The first major judge in Judges is a woman! And she is strong. She spearheads a battle against Jabin and reveals that her commander, Barak, is a coward. Deborah is an example of how heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and do not always look or act the way the world thinks they look and act.
