Current Sermon Series: Heart Conversations

During Valentine’s Day, hearts are everywhere – on cards, on plush toys, and, of course, on candies. People will often pass out Conversation Hearts, which are little candy hearts with messages that are meant to spark a conversation, usually about love and affection. Though we often associate the heart with love, Jesus knows that there are things other than love in our hearts. He says, “Out of the heart come evil thoughts – murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander” (Matthew 15:19). In this series, we will have conversations about the darker things in our hearts, so we can confront these things, deal with them, and then replace them with what is meant to be in our hearts – love.

Where to Share

Be a Conversationalist (Week 5)

When writing to the church at Corinth, Paul assumes that there will be unbelievers in their midst and so encourages them to consider them. Do we consider those who have doubts and questions when we are worshiping each weekend?
